Lost Pit Bull in Hemet

March 18th, 2009

Bob Pratte of the Press Enterprise www.pe.com was kind enough to write an article for a friend and colleague of ours in Hemet, Ca., Lisa Valentine of Valentine Mobile Grooming. Lisa recently lost her beloved friend and pet “Ray” a brown and white American Pit Bull with an amazing story of rescue and recovery.

Joe and I have had the pleasure of spending time with Ray and think he’s really an exceptional dog. Lisa is currently conducting an blanketing search for Ray, who requires medication for sarcoptic mange and may at this moment be relapsing from the good health Lisa had worked hard to achieve for him.

Every mobile animal control officer has a special note and info about Ray at this moment, but so far with no luck finding him.

Ray is exceptionally friendly and will avoid a fight to go find a friendlier dog to play with, he is agility trained with a great disposition. His skin may look poor at this point as he will have been off his medication and special food for a week and half now. If anyone has any leads please contact us! There is a reward and good chance you will be written about in the paper.

Rescue Kittens Available for Adoption

May 31st, 2008

Adopt a Rescue Kitten

About this time last year we had an opportunity to rescue 3 kittens that a client found and brought to our shop. We bottle fed them and raised them until they were developed enough to go up for adoption. All three went to fantastic homes and have been spayed and nuetered, we couldnt have asked for better homes.

This May we found ourselves again with 3 more kittens. These little guys are characters! They will be receiving their first shots this weekend May 30 2008, and will be available to good homes next week. We’ll do everything in our power to avoid taking them to the shelter as when I visited last spring came to find that they had euthanized dozens of kittens that I’d visited the previous week. Their little faces will haunt us forever as we believe every kitten deserves a loving home.

If you are interested in adopting a kitten please contact us for an interview. All 3 kittens will come home litter trained, and with their own bed and photo. To see more photos of the kittens, please click the link above.

Kittens are located in the Inland Valley in Riverside County in Old Town Winchester in the Temecula Valley.
